GLDC Now in Florida

What's New @ GLDC
Well, we got tired of the great duck and goose hunting  and decided to pack it all up and move to FL.  I always wanted to learn to surf...That isn't exactly why we moved, but we did move to central Florida this past summer.  Laurie's employer needed her here, so after some hard decisions, we decided to give it a try.  It is and was very difficult leaving family, friends and hunting buddies, but I (we) are suckers for adventure and this one surely is one for the books.  We also knew that if things tanked out, we could always move back - how hard is that?  So why not?

Due to the move, I am not making any decoys right now, for anyone, including myself.  All of my equipment is still in NY.  I would love to help all the DU chapters that I have helped in the past, but the situation is beyond my control right now.  Please contact me for next year's banquette season and I should be able to help out.  Thanks for understanding.

I recently added some new pics to the bottom of the photo page.  There are a few from the NY early goose season and the duck season opener there.  I also added a pic of Matt Reid with Beau, that is from the last day of the 05/06 season.  Matt and I had a great hunt on the Niagara River, shooting bills, mallards and a pair of cans - what a day.

The last photo is of my recent hunt with Dave Owen.  Our decoys were buzzed by a different type of creature.
